Stopping power is provided by disc brakes fitted in the front axle. An anti-lock-braking system is also inset, ensuring that the vehicle does not roll or skid.  Engine & Transmission

The Creta is made available with a 1.6-litre petrol engine. This produces 121bhp of power at 6400rpm and the maximum torque of 151Nm at 4850rpm. There are two diesel engines. The first one is the 1.4-litre U2 CRDi that churns about 90bhp of power at 4000rpm and 220Nm of maximum torque at 1500rpm. This is the same engine it shares with the i20 and i20 Active. The other diesel engine is 1.6-litre that produces about 126bhp of power at 4000rpm and 259Nm of maximum torque at 1900-2750rpm. The three engines come mated to a six-speed manual transmission and the 1.6-litre diesel also has an option of six-speed automatic transmission. Mileage

The 1396 cc Diesel - powered variant delivers a fuel economy of 22 kmpl in city and 24 kmpl on highways, while the Petrol variant offers a mileage of 16 kmpl on urban roads and 18 kmpl and freeways, respectively.

Safety Features

The Hyundai Creta comes with ABS with EBD as a standard safety feature. It even has multiple airbags (two at the front, side and even curtain ones). The Creta has vehicle stability control, then there is hill descent and ESP on the top-of-the-line variant. The mid-level variants have reverse parking seniors and higher ones even get the camera.
